Terms of service
TERMS OF SERVICE
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Verdant Moto website and your purchase of products or services from Verdant Moto. By using this website, submitting a custom-order request, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and any policies referenced on this website.
Verdant Moto provides custom artwork, engraving, and related motorcycle accessory products and services. Because many items are individually designed or modified for a specific customer, additional terms may apply to custom orders described below.
CUSTOM ORDERS AND DESIGN APPROVAL
Custom orders are created based on information, preferences, references, and other materials provided by the customer. Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their helmet, visor, requested design, and other relevant specifications.
When design approval is requested, approval authorizes Verdant Moto to proceed with the custom work based on the agreed general design and placement. Because engraving permanently alters the surface, changes may not be possible once engraving has begun.
HANDMADE WORK AND VARIATIONS
Verdant Moto custom pieces are individually created and engraved using rotary tools. Handmade work may include minor variations in linework, placement, depth, texture, or appearance. These natural variations are part of the individual creation process and do not, by themselves, constitute a defect.
This does not exclude responsibility for an item that is incorrect, damaged, or otherwise subject to rights or remedies available under applicable law.
DISPLAY & CUSTOM ART USE
Verdant Moto engraving permanently modifies the original surface of an item. Engraved helmet visors and motorcycle windscreens are currently offered as custom artwork/display pieces and have not been independently tested or certified by Verdant Moto for impact protection, optical performance, structural performance, or other safety-related performance after modification.
Verdant Moto does not represent or warrant that an engraved visor, windscreen, or other safety-related component maintains the original manufacturer's performance characteristics or is suitable for protective or road use. Customers should not rely on modified safety-related components as safety equipment based on representations from Verdant Moto.
CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED ITEMS
If you provide an item for customization, you are responsible for providing accurate information about the item and for disclosing known pre-existing damage, coatings, finishes, or other relevant conditions. Verdant Moto may decline an item that appears damaged or otherwise unsuitable for the requested work.
Verdant Moto is not responsible for pre-existing scratches, chips, cracks, wear, defects, or other conditions present before the item is received. If an unexpected condition is discovered that may affect the project, Verdant Moto may pause the work and contact you before proceeding.
PRICING & PAYMENT
Pricing for custom work may vary based on design complexity, estimated work time, visor type, materials, sourcing requirements, and other project-specific factors. The applicable price or quote will be provided before the custom order is confirmed.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the quoted price and order details before payment. Any additional work or changes requested after approval may require additional charges, which will be discussed before that additional work is performed.
CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS & REFUNDS
Custom and personalized order are subject to Verdant Moto's Return and Refund Policy. Because custom engraving permanently modifies an item for an individual customer, cancellation, return, exchange, and refund eligibility may depend on whether design work, visor sourcing, engraving, or other order-specific work has already begun.
Nothing in these terms is intended to limit any rights or remedies available to you under applicable law.
DESIGNS, ARTWORK & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the right or permission to provide and request the use of any artwork, logos, text, photographs, reference images, or other third-party materials submitted for a custom project. Verdant Moto may decline requests that appear to infringe another party's intellectual property rights.
Depending on the project, Verdant Moto's design-development process may include original drawings, customer-provided materials, references, tracing or stencil development, digital tools, and AI-assisted concept generation. The degree of original drawing, adaptation, or modification may vary by project.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, purchasing a custom item does not transfer ownership of Verdant Moto's branding, photographs, qualifying original artwork, or other creative materials owned by Verdant Moto. Rights in customer-provided or third-party materials remain with their respective rights holders.
WEBSITE AND PRODUCT INFORMATION
Verdant Moto aims to present product descriptions, photographs, pricing, availability, and other website information as accurately as reasonably possible. Because screens, lighting, reflective visor finishes, and handmade engraving can affect appearance, colors and visual details may appear somewhat different in person than they do in photographs or on a device.
ORDER ACCEPTANCE
Submitting a custom request does not guarantee that Verdant Moto will accept the project. Verdant Moto may decline or cancel a request when reasonably necessary, including when a requested design cannot be completed as proposed, a suitable visor cannot be sourced, the supplied visor is unsuitable for customization, or required order information cannot be confirmed.
If Verdant Moto cancels an accepted order, any payment owed back to the customer will be handled in accordance with the Return and Refund Policy and applicable law.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Shipping and delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise. Once an order has been transferred to the chipping carrier, delivery timing may be affected by circumstances outside Verdant Moto's control.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. If an order is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping charges may apply before the order is resent.
LAWFUL USE & ORDER REQUESTS
You may not use the Verdant Moto website or services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes. Verdant Moto may refuse a custom request involving content or materials that Verdant Moto reasonably believes cannot lawfully be produced, sold, or used.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their requested personalization and intended use comply with laws and regulations applicable to them.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Verdant Moto will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of this website or the purchase or use of its products or services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot fully be excluded or limited, or any consumer rights that cannot be lawfully waived.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and any transactions with Verdant Moto are governed by the laws applicable in the State of Georgia, United States, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections or other rights that may apply under applicable law.
