HOW CUSTOM ORDERS WORK

YOUR VISION. OUR CRAFT.

Every custom project starts with an idea.

At Verdant Moto, I work directly with each customer to transform their vision into a one-of-a-kind engraved piece. From the initial consultation to the final details, every project is personally designed, prepared, and engraved by hand.

Here’s how the process works.

01 - SHARE YOUR VISION

Tell me what you’re imagining.

Whether it’s a motorcycle visor, windscreen, car mirror or windows, or another custom piece, I’ll work with you to understand your ideas, preferred style, and design goals.

Reference images, sketches, inspiration, and specific requests are always welcome.

We’ll discuss your budget, item details, and any important deadlines during the consultation.

02 - DEVELOP YOUR DESIGN

Once I understand your vision, I’ll create preliminary concepts for you to review.

Depending on the project, I may provide multiple design options featuring different styles or levels of detail.

You’ll have the opportunity to select a direction and request adjustments before moving forward.

03 - ITEM REVIEW & CUSTOM QUOTE

Every project is individually evaluated and priced based on design complexity, coverage, material, and estimated work.

Supply your own item?

I’ll arrange for you to ship or drop off your item. Once received, I’ll inspect the condition, photograph it, and confirm the proposed engraving before providing your final quote.

Need Verdant Moto to source an item?

I can discuss sourcing options and provide a preliminary quote covering the item, shipping, and engraving. The full item and inbound shipping costs, along with engraving deposit, are collected before I place an order.

You’ll receive a written quote outlining the project, scope, pricing, deposit, and estimated turnaround.

04 - DEPOSIT & FINAL APPROVALS

Once your quote is accepted and the required payment is received, I’ll prepare your final design.

Custom projects generally require a 50% engraving deposit, which is credited toward your final total.

Before engraving begins, you’ll approve:

  • Final artwork: The exact design, details, and any lettering.

  • Final placement: The size, positioning, and orientation of the design on your item.

I won’t begin permanent engraving until both approvals are confirmed.

05 - HANDCRAFTED FOR YOU

Once everything is approved, I’ll begin engraving your piece by hand.

Every detail is carefully developed through linework, texture, and shading to bring your design to life.

Because each piece is individually created, production times vary depending on complexity and my current project schedule.

06 - COMPLETION & DELIVERY

Once your engraving is finished, I’ll inspect the completed piece and provide final photographs.

The remaining balance is collected before pickup or return shipping.

I’ll coordinate the agreed delivery method so your finished piece makes its way back to you.

MADE TO BE NOTICED. MADE TO BE YOURS.

QUESTIONS BEFORE WE GET STARTED?

Everything you need to know about custom engraving, pricing, approvals, and getting your piece back.

Can I provide my own item for engraving?

Yes! I accept customer-supplied items for consideration, including visors, mirrors, windscreens, and other pieces. You can arrange shipping or local drop-off. I’ll inspect and photograph your item before confirming the final quote and collecting a deposit.

Can Verdant Moto source an item for me?

Depending on availability, I may be able to source an item for your project. I’ll confirm its purchase price, inbound shipping costs, and preliminary engraving quote before ordering. The full item and inbound shipping costs, along with the agreed engraving deposit, are required upfront.

How much does custom engraving cost?

Every Project is individually priced based on the item, design complexity, coverage, and level of detail. After. Discussing your ideas and reviewing the item, I’ll provide a written quote outlining the agreed work, price or price range, and deposit.

Can I make changes to my design?

Absolutely! I’ll share preliminary concepts for feedback before developing your final artwork. You’ll approve both the finished design and its placement before engraving begins. Revisions outside the agreed scope may require an updated quote.

How long does custom engraving take?

Turnaround depends on design complexity, item availability, and my current workload. I’ll provide an estimated timeline during the consultation and quoting process. Delays involving item delivery, revisions, or approvals may affect completion.

Is engraving permanent?

Yes. Engraving permanently alters the surface of an item and cannot simply be removed or reversed.

Because every piece is engraved by hand, slight variations in linework, texture, and shading are part of the finished artwork.

I’ll review your design and placement with you before any permanent engraving begins.

Can engraved visors, windscreens, mirrors, and windows still be used on the road?

Engraving can affect visibility, coatings, and the performance of certain materials.

I review each item individually, taking its intended use and proposed engraving placement into consideration.

Verdant Moto does not certify that modified components retain their original safety performance or comply with road-use requirements. Some projects may require additional assessment or may be declined.

What happens if I need to cancel my order?

I understand that plans can change.

Cancellation and refund arrangements depend on how far the project has progressed, any completed design or engraving work, and any authorized nonrecoverable sourcing costs.

I’ll explain the applicable cancellation terms in your written quote before collecting payment.
